European infrastructures

This section presents the European research infrastructures that play a key role in the promotion and advancement of research in Precision Medicine, closely linked to IMPaCT.

EU OPENSCREEN is an ERIC (European Research Infrastructures Consortium) that integrates molecule screening platforms for drug development that comprises more than 140,000 compounds and offers researchers from academic institutions open access to resources.

EATRIS is an ERIC that represents the main support structure for translational research in biomedicine in Europe, with the participation of 14 countries.

European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network is an ERIC to support clinical trials.
In Spain, many of the collaborating entities in IMPaCT participate in the ISCIII Platform for Clinical Research Support (SCReN) which in turn participates in ECRIN.

ELIXIR unites Europe’s leading life sciences organizations in managing and protecting the growing volume of data generated by publicly funded research.
It coordinates, integrates and maintains bioinformatics resources in its member states and enables users in academia and industry to access services that are vital to their research.
