This section presents the most significant institutions in Citizen Participation at European level, promoting active participation and empowerment of patients in their own care and in decision-making related to their health, making their voices heard and collaborating in the construction of a more inclusive, democratic and sustainable Europe.
EPF's mission is to advance the interests of patients by strengthening their collective impact across Europe through effective advocacy, education, empowerment and partnership.
PFMD's mission is to bring together initiatives and best practices that integrate the voice of the patient, thereby accelerating the creation and implementation of an effective and globally standardized framework, involving patients as partners, as well as the tools, services, and support needed to enable multi-stakeholder adoption of the framework.
